Many of our friends who are either from Santa Catalina or abroad have moved to Santa Catalina to live their version of the idyllic tropical dream and have created unique and cozy hotels, inns and hostels. We're happy to recommend but we also urge you to choose from the varied options available to you in and around Catalina. Below are some of those options.
La Buena Vida
La Buena Vida is located on the main road as you enter Santa Catalina and offers a variety of artistic private villas that are very clean & well maintained in addition to more affordable guesthouse options.
Rolo’s Cabanas
Rolo’s Cabins offer some of the closest access to Santa Catalina Beach. Rolo himself was born and raised in Santa Catalina so he's a great host with great insights to offer!
Rancho Estero
Ranchero Estero is a little gem that overlooks Playa Estero and authentic tiki cabanas, hot water, a large chill/yoga deck, hammocks and a guest kitchen.
Villa Coco
Villa Coco is one of Santa Catalina's newest hotel with a beautiful infinity pool, beautiful gardens and private cabana rooms.
Hotel Iguanito
Located around the corner from Fluid! Great place for quaint rooms and their restaurant on-site is awesome!
Las Hamacas
Las Hamacas is perfectly located in Santa Catalina, close to the dive shops, restaurant/bars, beaches, and the surf! Las Hamacas consists of studio units neatly positioned around a community rancho.
Casa Maya
Casa Maya rents two houses that can accommodate up to 6 guests. They are located in the middle of town close to La Punta and Pizzeria Jammin'.
Surfer’s Paradise
A surf camp located overlooking the main point. Basic rooms, but views you can't beat. Meals are offered on sight and there's a community kitchen.
Deseo Bamboo
This unique eco-lodge is located just out of town. Be sure to check out their semi-common live music nights.
Cool Inside
Great for low budget travelers. Has a restaurant and camping spots also available.
Sol y Mar
Sol y Mar is on a hillside as you arrive in Santa Catalina from Sona. It is a quiet spot, a little further from the beach than most of the options, but offers nice rooms with a/c and hot water.
Coibahouse
Enjoy Coibahouse the boutique bed and breakfast located close to the Fluid shop with one of the best views of Coiba, town beach and the beautiful Catalina sunsets.
Oasis
Cabanas right on the beach at Playa Estero. No other accommodation has a view like this! Perfect for families and/or friends traveling together!
Pelicano Hostal
Great budget friendly accommodations close to La Punta, perfect for backpackers, lovers and surfers!
Villa Vento
Located in town across from the bakery. Great spot for groups traveling together, pool & bar in back.
