Santa Catalina Tours

Our Coastal Tours depart from the Town Beach where the Fluid shop is located. These day and overnight tours explore the diverse area of the Pacific close to the village of Santa Catalina.

While the snorkeling may not be as exciting as Coiba, the paddling, diversity, beautiful Santa Catalina Island and the beaches and mangroves this area offers does not disappoint. Yes, we also rent our gear to those with experience who wish to self guide.

adam3About our Fleet: Our single Kayaks consist of a high quality Canadian fleet of Boreal Design’s Inukshuk. These polyethelene boats combine elegance and performance, is unquestionably the fastest kayak in its category. Its long waterline and tapered contour allow the kayak to accelerate quickly and track beautifully, while the upswept bow provides buoyancy when paddling in waves. This comfortable and spacious kayak features a low profile offering minimal wind resistance, making the Inukshuk easy to manoeuvre. You’re going to enjoy paddling this boat!

Our tandem kayaks are from Wilderness Systems. The Northstar is a mid-sized tourer, rockered for outstanding maneuverability even under a full load. This boat allows folks to paddle together, should you wish, and is great for sharing the work load.
