The places to stay in Santa Catalina are a collection of surf camps, hostels and cabanas which are quite simple for the most part. Prices can range from $5 per night for camping to around $60 per night for some of the fancier options.
Sol y Mar
Sol y Mar is on a hillside as you arrive in Santa Catalina from Sona. It is a quiet spot, a little further from the beach than most of the options, but offers nice rooms with a/c and hot water.
La Buena Vida
La Buena Vida is located on the main paved road on the left as you enter Santa Catalina and offers 2 quaint guest quarters that are very clean and well maintained.
Rancho Estero
Ranchero Estero overlooks Playa Estero and offers cabins or camping.
Rolo’s Cabanas
Rolo's Cabins offer some of the closest access to Santa Catalina Beach.
Dos Palmas Surf Lodge
On the hill in front of the Santa Catalina Surf Break. 11 rooms, 6 in the main building with 5 cabanas.
Blue Zone
Blue Zone surf and dive hostel is located on a bluff above the beach a short walk or drive from the center of town and close to some of the best surfing areas.
Casa Maya
Casa Maya rents two houses that can accommodate up to 6 guests.
Oasis
Cabanas right on the beach at Playa Estero.
Surfer’s Paradise
A surf camp located on the point overlooking the main point. Meals are offered on sight.
Hibiscus Gardens
Located on beautiful Lagartero beach, a 10 minute drive from Santa Catalina, this small hotel offers seven very nice, clean and spacious rooms
Casa Kenia
Located conveniently at the main intersection in town, Casa Kenia is a private home rented out by its owners.
La Casa Verde
Fully furnished ocean front house for rent in Catalina with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
